Over 25 years in senior positions in the Information Technology & Telecommunication (IT&T) industry in Banking, Government and Research & Development institutions. In recent years, emphasis on business strategies to accelerate growth of companies: strategic alliances which entail equity taking, mergers & acquisitions and capital injection. Specifically, assisting small and medium size companies in the high tech industries in optimizing growth by access to capital via business partnerships, M&A and venture capital.

Educational background: B.Sc. (Mathematics & Physics), Hebrew University, Jerusalem. M.Sc. (Physics) and Ph.D. (Computer Science), Weizman Inst. of Science, Rehovot, Israel.

Professional background: Professional IT&T officer in the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) in a variety of senior managerial and technical positions. Left IDF as a Lieutenant Colonel after the completion of a major consulting assignment to the Chief Telecommunication Officer on the strategic directions and structure of IT&T in IDF. Senior analyst at Bolt Beranek and Neuman (BB&N), working on the ARPANET, the predecessor of the Internet. Post Doctorate fellow, Harvard University, Boston, MA. Head of development IT&T, Israeli Discount Bank, taking the bank into the frontiers of on line banking. Senior executive positions with the State Bank of NSW (SBN), including the positions of CIO and General Manager - Corporate IT&T, Properties, Contract & supply and Fleet Management. Deputy Managing Director of Financial Network Services (FNS)- a core banking software development company. Director and partner-Bach Consulting ( business management strategies) .
